A Little R&D Studios History…..
Hello! We create short films and photography campaigns using a hybrid approach. We shoot both stills and video while personally engaging and directing my subjects to reveal their unique personalities and stories.
In the past 20 years, David Naugle has worked as photographer, director and editor for global brands: SONOS, Patagonia, The Coca-Cola Company, Samsung Mobile US, Cox Enterprises, AMC, Disney XD, PBS, Weather Underground, Alternative Apparel, NIIT, Schwab, FedEx, Kodak, American Heart Association, Randstad, LG, TEDx Atlanta, Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, Art Papers Magazine, Esopus Foundation, Stereo Skateboards, MOCA GA and XLR8R Magazine.
His work has also been seen in The Village Voice, Bon Appetit, Food + Wine Magazine, Metropolis Magazine and the New York Times from his contribution in the discovery of Mark Hogancamp in the award-winning documentary Marwencol.
David Naugle started R&D Studios where he collaborates with adventurous filmmakers, writers, artists, web developers and producers. He and his agile team produce still photography campaigns and clever brand videos in studio or on location both large and small.
